Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Alter: Voice changer for video app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Olena Gotsulyak (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service.

This agreement is concluded between you and the developer only, and not with Apple. The developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the application and its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, Apple will have the right to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Application.

Use of the Application

The Application is provided as a tool that allows users to import, record, modify, and export audio and video content. The Service Provider does not provide, generate, or supply any audio or video content.

All content processed using the Application is user-generated content. You retain full ownership and responsibility for any content you create, modify, or export using the Application.

User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to use any audio or video content processed in the Application, including consent from individuals whose voices or images may appear in the content.

You agree not to use the Application for:

• impersonation, identity misrepresentation, or deception;
• harassment, abuse, or harm of any individual;
• creation or distribution of illegal, infringing, or unlawful content;
• violating privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights of others.

No Guarantee of Anonymity

The Application does not guarantee anonymity or untraceability. Modified audio or video may remain recognizable or attributable to the original source. You acknowledge that you should not rely on the Application to conceal identity.

No Content Monitoring or Moderation

The Service Provider does not monitor, review, access, or moderate user-generated content. Audio and video processing occurs locally on your device, and the Service Provider has no technical ability to access your content.

Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

The Service Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Application or any content created or distributed using the Application.

You acknowledge and agree that you use the Application entirely at your own risk.

Intellectual Property

Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, reverse engineering, or extraction of the source code of the Application, or any part thereof, is strictly prohibited.

All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the exclusive property of the Service Provider.

Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. The Service Provider is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.

Connectivity and Charges

Some features of the Application require an active internet connection. The Service Provider is not responsible for any lack of functionality due to network issues, lack of connectivity, or exhausted data allowances.

You are responsible for any data charges or fees incurred through your mobile network provider while using the Application.

Updates and Termination

The Service Provider may update, modify, or discontinue the Application at any time without prior notice.

The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be compatible with your device or operating system version.

Upon termination of the Application or these Terms, you must cease all use of the Application and delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 2026-01-01.
